





The Tall Ships Festival
The Royal Borough of Greenwich is proud host of the Royal Greenwich Tall Ships Regatta 2014. Royal Greenwich will be the final port for the prestigious Falmouth to Royal Greenwich Tall Ships Regatta in September 2014. It will be London's largest Tall Ship event in 25 years: the first major Tall Ships event since London hosted the Tall Ships Race in 1989.
From 5 to 9 September Royal Greenwich will host five days of exciting activities. During the Royal Greenwich Tall Ship Regatta, Royal Greenwich Festivals will provide a spectacular programme of music, dance and family entertainment and every day there will be a different parade of historical ships.
Highlights incude a puppetry parade, theatre, Greenwich Dances,performing arts by the Greenwich World Cultural Festival, the Greenwich Children's Theatre Festival, a crew parade and a music festival with sea shanties, acapella groups, small bands and pop-up performances.
The Tall Ships Festival will take place over five different locations in and around Royal Greenwich:
- Royal Arsenal Woolwich
- West India Dock
- Enderby's Wharf
- Victoria Deepwater Dock
- Maritime Greenwich
